Objective: Students will create a plan to positively impact social issues in their community.

2.  TEDTalk - "A Practical Way to Help the Homeless Find Work”
   ***T-graph and reflection questions

3. Introduce Community Activism Project
   ***Review the assignment and begin to brainstorm social issue ideas

Objective: Students will begin brainstorming for their community activism projects.

Tuesday, February 7th

1. "Stepping Up"

Objective: Students will see and respond to the impact that teens have had on social issues in the past.

   **Read, discuss, and reflect
   ***Complete and submit the assignment in Classroom

Objective: Students will connect kairos with the article and the call to action to help with food security.
